DARKSTARR was established in 1978. We are small private breeders. Our main goal is to have fun with our dogs. We are in our ninth generation of selective breeding. Our systematic approach to breerding insures that we optimize type, character, and structure in our dogs. Our philosophy is that all aspects of the breed are relevant and need to be addressed in breeding.   

   We are very excited about where we are heading with our breeding program. With every generation the refinement of Darkstarr's foundation dogs are apparent, which makes the prospects for the future very bright.
